why talk about all
the known and the unknown
see how the unknown merges into the known
why think seperately
of this life and the next
when one is born from the last

Sefirot are the attributes souls must work on in order to reach TzimTzum and the Shekhinah (divine presence). This is meant to be done through mortality. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to achieve in one lifetime. Certain attributes can be worked on through having a job in the Beyond. Certain attributes can also be worked on through the Afterlife. The distance from TzimTzum defines what attributes can be worked on the best, though it is important to note that a determined soul can work on any attribute at any time. Some souls choose to return to the mortal plane after a period of service in the Beyond instead of going into the Afterlife. Whether they realize it or not, this allows them to continue to work on attributes; however, this is made more difficult by the increased distance from the Shekhinah within TzimTzum. After a time, almost all souls choose to go into the Afterlife. Outside of the mortal plane is Sheol, the Void. There is no Hell, though the concept of Sheol is to many in the Beyond worse because it is the ultimate separation from the Shekhinah. Sheol is a place of pure nothingness and disconnect. TzimTzum is infinite in the Sefirot and, after a period of reflection, souls in Sheol are sent back to the mortal plane to try again.
