Though it hasn’t been brought up here on the blog, many of you know through other channels that I’ve been working hard on a sequel to THE BUSINESS OF DEATH. Well, to be more precise, I’ve been working hard on final revisions for THE BUSINESS OF DEATH and I’ve been snowflaking the plot for the sequel whenever I get sick of said revisions. The one thing that I haven’t had, which has caused me no end of frustration, is a name for this new project. Well, I’m proud to announce that it officially has a name! It’s so easy and natural, I’m a little embarrassed that it took so long. I’ve tested it with several people who are not only familiar with THE BUSINESS OF DEATH, but have a good understanding of what the next book will entail. All parties agree that this is a fabulous title and just perfect for the both the plot and the series.
Without further ado, I give you:
THE COMPANY OF ANGELS
Nice, huh? It works on multiple levels. It mimics the previous title in formula. Business and Company compare well, though Company in this sense holds both that meaning AND that of camaraderie. And I’ve still got that afterlife element going for me. I love it!
What do you think? Hop on over to the Adult Fiction page if you want to read the new blurb I’ve posted. Be warned, though, it contains a serious SPOILER for THE BUSINESS OF DEATH.
